WELCOME!

The Parking Department is pleased to offer this service to our customers. This website allows students, faculty, and staff the ability to look at their basic parking account information, purchase parking permits (select types available – see below), and pay citations.

What permits are available on-line?

Students may purchase north campus resident, south campus resident, commuter student, or motorcycle permits via the website. Current faculty/staff may purchase inner-lot faculty/staff, outer-lot employee, or motorcycle permits via the website. Automatic payroll deduction for faculty/staff permits is available – contact the Parking Department at 575-646-1839 for details. Disabled parking on campus only requires a current state-issued disabled plate or placard be displayed. The Parking Department offers a disabled parking permit to students, faculty, and staff free of charge.

( NOTE : Permit prices for the spring semester change on December 1 and permit prices for summer session change on May 1. If you are purchasing a permit for the spring or summer, please do not purchase until after these dates.)

What is needed to use the site?

A NMSU login and banner number, a VISA or Mastercard and a computer with an internet connection are needed.

Is the site secure?

Yes. The website uses a secure server and all credit card information is kept secure during the entire transaction. For more information, view our page on website credit card security .

How much does a permit cost?

The following chart shows the costs for parking permits. A customer may only purchase one permit at the listed cost, except for motorcycle permits which remain the same. Second and subsequent permits cost $132 for students, faculty, and staff. Second and subsequent permits must be purchased in person at the Parking Department. ( NOTE : Permit prices for the spring semester change on December 1 and permit prices for summer session change on May 1. If you are purchasing a permit for the spring or summer, please do not purchase until after these dates.)

If a student or faculty/staff member is only on campus during the fall semester and has purchased an annual parking permit, it can be returned to the Parking Department before January 15 for a partial refund.
